Cordlife Alliance is a community banking programme that allows members to support one another with their cryopreserved cord blood in addition to protecting their own family.
In the event of a medical need and the family’s cord blood unit is not suitable to be used, the family can tap into the community bank to search for alternative matching cord blood units.

How to enroll?
You can enroll for Alliance Community Banking when you sign up to store your baby’s cord blood with Cordlife. Members will be charged a one-time fee for high-resolution human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing, which is used to match patients and donors for stem cell transplant or infusion.
How HLA typing is done?
The collection of the testing sample for HLA typing is simple and seamless as it is done as a part of the cord blood banking process. A report will be sent to you along with your other lab reports within 6 – 8 weeks after the delivery of your baby.
